Janet Jones

I think of Janet's kind heart and smile often. My thoughts are with the entire Jones family especially at this time of year.

We were neighbors for more than 50 years. Edward and Janet braved the aftermath of Katrina with us and over the years we shared many memories of watching the kids grow up and become so successful in their careers. Janet was very soft/spoken and strong in her faith and religious values. We miss her presence in the neighborhood.

Janet and I were classmates at Xavier Prep. and graduated with the class of 1960. We also lived fairly close to each other and I would run into her now and then at the grocery store or on the walking trail on St. Anthony. I with to express my sincere condolences to her family.

Janet and I were friends and graduates of the 1960 class of Xavier Prep.She was a sweet and gentle person with a special love for the Lord.Just know that she is free from pain and resting in the arms of our Lord and her dear husband E.J.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we acknowledge Janet´s passing. She and Edward were our neighbors for more than fifty years. We watched the children grow and blossom into adulthood under her nurturing care. Her soft spoken demeanor was consistent with her strong faith that she lived each day through her dedication to her church through such activities as service as a Eucharistic minister. She was a thoughtful, sincere, and caring neighbor who will be sorely missed.
