For a while, back in the mid to late 80's and beyond Janet and i were the 'Wild Women of Orange'...I had so much fun with her...camping in Anza Borrego and Joshua Tree, b swiming at her home, and so much more. I loved knowing about her kids...in Big Bear, India and locally. I am so sorry not to know how they are all doing...and I was even more sorry to not have learned about her passing. So pleased to add my memories of our close friendship for 15 years. Hope all the kids are doing well.

I met Janet in 1985..where we shared so many of our ups and downs in life's relationships. We camped together and basically had fun! I did not know that she had passed away...as she did not keep in touch the last 10 years of her life...I am very sad to learn of her passing. I wonder how her kids are since she shared so much about them: one in India, the other in the mountains..and her son, close by.

Janet was a friend. My first contact with her was when she was a student and then later a colleague. She was warm, brilliant, trustworthy, and dedicated to her work with helping children develop. I miss her. A friend forever.

Janet was truly a wonderful person who brought joy in to the lives of everyone she met. Her skills as an educator helped many students become excellent pre-school and primary grade teachers. I will miss Janet.
