Janet was a great person, she listened, she asked questions and she shared stories. Alhtough we were both from Manchester, it was Rye beach where I caught up on news about Tony, Kristy and her grandchildren.
On one particular 4th of July, Janet was walking the beach with a large garbage bag. She was picking up all the debris left from the celebrations the night before. She did not set off the fireworks but she was there to do the clean up. I walked and helped Janet finish the job. This summer I will think of Janet when I follow her lead. My condolences to her family and friends.
