I'm sad to hear that such a great educator/friend has passed, if ever you wanted to know who this wonderful lady had touched with her kindness all you had to do was look at her wall of pictures of students past, and present. She shall be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. She was one of the best teachers anyone could hope to have and it is hard to even imagine her passing (she was so full of life and energy). She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

To the entire Hall/Mahan family my complete heartfelt condolences. I knew Janet & Eddie through out our high-school years. Eddie and I joined the Marines together and remained close until his passing. This is truly a great personal loss.

So sad to hear of Ms. Mahan's passing. Amongst all the amazing things I learned from her, something I will never forget is she taught us to do random acts of kindness. By doing so you can turn someone's bad day into a good one. If only more people would teach that this world might be a better place.
I will never forget your kindness and humor. Thank you Ms. Mahan for being you! You will be missed by so many.
