Janet was a dear friend and roommate at BYU, and we´ve stayed connected off and on over the years. We were messaging each other not that long ago but she never mentioned her heart problems. I´m truly sorry to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to her family that she so loved.

I've had the privilege of knowing Janet for 23 years. I met her at 10 years old when I met her daughter, Kristi, one of my dearest friends in 4th grade at Country Hills Elementary school. Much of my growing up years were spent at their house at 210 Ambling Dr. That house holds so many fun memories for me. Janet was an incredible mother. She was always so kind and full of light and love. She had the most beautiful Longaberger baskets around the house and made the best desserts. She treated me like another daughter and I'll never forget how welcoming she was. I'll never forget her laughter and her sweet voice. She smiled with her whole face. She was beautiful. She was close to all her kids and maintained such wonderful relationships. I am so thankful that I got to videochat with her and Kristi shortly before she passed. I will always think of her beautiful smile and how warm she was. We all miss you so much Janet.

Over the years I have thought of Janet often. It was such a fun time in our lives, raising our little ones, making friends with the other moms, and doing crafts together. She was always smiling and laughing. I know she will be missed by many. My thoughts are with your family. Tanya Rooney

I´m so sorry to hear of Janet´s passing. Janet worked with me back in the early 2000´s at Core Physical Therapy as an Aide and Admin. Janet was kind, hard working, and always helpful and encouraging to all the patients. I truly enjoyed working with Janet and appreciated her loyalty and willingness to always learn new things. Janet loved her family and I had the privilege to witness how much she thoughtfully supported them everyday. Despite being a tireless worker, Janet always had time for her family to be there when they needed her. David and the kids were blessed to have Janet as wife and mom, as was I to have her as my co-worker. I will always have fond memories of Janet and her family and I wanted them to know just how grateful I am to have known her. My condolences to all that knew and loved Janet. She was one of a kind!
God Bless,
Matthew Reekstin
