I met Jan through John and Sue in the early 1970's.
Over the years, I would run into Jan at various church activities at Roseville and Van Dyke Church of Christ (where I was raised), where she was always genuinely kind and respectful to me. She made me feel special. She was such a lovely person, inside and out.
I extend my condolences to her entire family as they grieve her lack of presence here on Earth, but yet celebrate the life she lived and cherish their shared memories.
May God bless you all.
Love,
Pam Lawson

Aunt Jan and my mom were born the same year and were great friends who went on to marry brothers, Robert, and James "Uncle Jimmy" Runyon. She was always so loving and kind toward all of us "Runyon kids", and her soft-spoken voice and words of wisdom soothed me many times throughout my life. I loved her, and I will miss knowing that she is here making the world so much brighter for so many people. However, she will continue to shine as a bright light in the lives of those whom she loved, and we will meet her again someday, never to be parted. If Aunt Jan could say one last thing to us, she would tell us to love God, and Family, in that order!
May God comfort all who are grieving her loss. Love, Bessie Mae Runyon-Hunt
