Anniversaries like this are filled with mixed emotions: forever sad to have Janette gone from her family’s and friends’ lives too early for us; but also filled with peace because we know we will see her again and get to rekindle our relationships. ♥ For Janette Today

I have often thought of Janette over the years of her passing. She was such a sweet woman, wonderful mother, kind wife and a lovely example of a sister in Christ. Truly, a person without guile! I loved her and miss her.

Carl and family:

I came to work Monday morning to find an e-mail from another dear friend who told me of Janette's passing. I cannot begin to tell you what a shock it was for me! I've known Janette since Mrs. Killpack's dance class when were were 6! She was a bright light in our class! She and I became good friends over the years. I always adored her and loved her goodness. After FHE last night, our family took out my high school year books. I looked up all the pics of Janette, read her kind words to me and remembered her great words as she spoke at high school graduation. She is a very special person and I know Heavenly Father will use her talents on the other side to continue His work. The cosmic part of my experience is this... as I was sitting in Sunday School this last weekend... a memory of Janette flooded my mind... in fact, I hadn't thought about this in years. The Sunday School teacher this week was a substitute teacher in our ward. He did a great job! My mind was filled with the experience that Janette and I had as we taught a Sunday School lesson as substitutes one week when we were in the singles ward in Mapleton, UT some 20+ years ago. I think it was Janette's way of saying to me... "Everything is fine with me! You were my good friend and we had a blast together! Keep up the great work!" Another interesting aspect to her passing is that she passed on the date my mother died. Last week was a tough one for me... but I will long remember Janette along with the love of my mother. May you feel great comfort from knowing that we all have a wonderful guardian angel who will watch over us from heaven. She did everything she needed to do in this life to make it back. May your lives be filled with the love she had for life and for you! I pray your children will feel the peace that comes from someone who lived an A+ life! They, and you, have much to be proud of! Janette was a friend to all... she helped us feel the love of the Savior by her sweet example of charity.

All our best,
Lorraine (Wood) Clark
(and Randy... Rebecca... Rachel... and Natalie too!)

I have many fond memories of Janette (and the children) bringing me the Visiting Teaching message each month. Her sweet spirit, kind heart, gentle and loving nature, and angelic smile always brought peace and joy into my home. I am sure that she never fully understood how she impacted the lives of those around her or what a great example she was to so many. My deepest sympathy to Carl, Talya, Tanner, and other family members. May you find comfort in the knowledge that your family is forever.

Janette Stubbs, The most honest, thoughtful, and genuine person we ever met. Her life was an example of selfless and non-judgemental humility. She was always there to help her fiends in times of need or misfortune. She had a huge heart filled with charity and goodness. She represented herself, her family, and her faith as a shining member of the community. She was the kind of wife and mother a family could be proud of. Our lives were suddenly enriched one day when we met her as a new neighbor. It was an instant friendship that grew and blossomed into a deep kinship, eventually loving Janette, Carl, and the kids as an extended family. Her smile, laughter, kindness, and concern will be missed always, and we will never forget her, and how she touched our lives. Janette lived her life to the fullest. Her morals and family values were a tribute to her religious beliefs and dedication to her faith. Her spirit lives on forever in our hearts. She is destined to be an Angel, and happily serve in the Kingdom of God in peace and harmony. God Bless her Soul. Love, Melissa, Randy and Nicole
