Thank you for sharing your awesome talent in creating "The Backyardigans".
I am a senior lady and I randomly stumbled across The Backyardigans cartoons one morning when I took a day off from work.
That was the beginning of my Long Love Affair with that particular cartoon.
I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SHOW,
ESPECIALLY THE CHARACTERS.
I have no doubt your creation made a lot of folks just feel good and happy.

She was so talented and creative. She created something so very different. A favorite of mine, I watched with kids and without. We all loved it. Such a great, fresh idea, really a different type of cartoon. Sincerest condolences to the Burgess family, God be with you all in your time of loss.

To the family, many, many friends, colleagues and fans of this wonderful creator Ms. Janice Buress fine comfort with you during this difficult time in your lives. Janice Burgess created the Nickelodeon animated show "The Backyardigans." There is no greater pain there could be than losing someone you love, especially when it is unexpected. May Almighty God in Heaven comfort the Buress family, friends and fan's broken hearts with endless love, strength, and peace as you cope with this loss in your lives. Ms. Janice Buress will certainly be missed by Hollywood and the whole world. May family, friends and extended family cherish her memories.
