Doug and girls,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. It is hard for me to understand the strange cycle of life. Jan was an amazing woman who's smile always lit up any room she walked into. I will always remember her as the wonderful, fun, loving woman I have known since I was a little girl.

My heart goes out to all of you on the loss of Jan. She was a ray of sunshine and enthusiasm in everything she did. I knew her for years in Alpha Chi and will always remember a beautiful young woman with a gentle soul. She was a favorite of mine through the years. Our paths went separate ways, but she was always present in my heart as a dear sister. May God grant you peace and may you all rest in His comforting arms.

I am so sorry for your loss. My son is a freshman at MSSU, I did not know Jan was an English teacher there. I went to Baker in 1973 and have very fond memories of Jan. Although I didn't pledge Alpha Chi, she made an indelible impression on me. My deepest sympathy.

In your time of sorrow, may you find comfort in the Great Comforter
as scripture tells us "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" John 14:18 and, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted" Matthew 5:4
Praying that the promises of the Lord's grace give you peace!
"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thes 4:17
