Janice DeMoisey Obituary
56, passed away June 25, 2015 with her family by her side.
She was greeted in Heaven by her father, Edwin J. Karrer.
She leaves behind a loving husband, J. Fox DeMoisey. Together they share five children, J. Fox DeMoisey, Jr. (Amelia), Whitney Williams (Brady), Nicole Parr(Donald), Julie Johnson (Dathan), and Robert Ramey, Jr.(Jeannie). She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Doris and James Raque; her brothers, Mike Karrer, David "Bib" Karrer(Karen), and Joe Karrer (Melissa); sisters, Nancy Couden (Dan), Susan Bakos, and Diane Reed (David); and sister-in-law, Jan W. DeMoisey. Nana's pride and joy are her eight beautiful grandchildren, Sara, Cooper, Baxley, Graham, Charlotte, Brady, Hayden, and Henry. Aunt Jan is also survived by her 16 dear nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
An avid sports fan, she cheered for the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds. Janice graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014 and was employed by Advanced Payroll Systems. Janice spent her final days as she spent her amazing life, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. It is with heavy hearts that we let go of her soul so she may find peace with the Lord.
A service to celebrate Janice's life and the legacy she leaves behind will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Evergreen Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest near her father in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to support an organization dear to Janice's family: Kentucky Cancer Link, P.O. Box 25088, Lexington, KY, 40524. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Donald Stevens, Aimee McCaa, APRN and team at Norton Cancer Institute for the loving care they provided.

I got the chance to work with Janice and Fox in early 2015 on the sale of a rental property. Janice was always very sweet and in good spirits. I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with your family. If you ever need anything Robby don't hesitate to call.

I only met Janice one time through a mutual connection (my cousin Jerry Kroll). She met me for lunch shortly after my divorce to offer encouragement and support since Jerry lived so far away. I regret I did not get to know her more. The type of person she was is evident by how she was willing to take time to meet a family member of a good friend of hers. I am so sad to hear this.
