Janice Kay (Bonnet) O'Brien

78, of Indianapolis, died December 22, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, who will be greatly missed. Janice was born on October 27, 1938 to Fred and Media (Jenkins) Bonnet. She grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1956. After graduating, she worked as an Insurance Executive at Eli Lilly for 35 years, retiring in May of 1991. Janice had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up any room. She was always kind and generous to anyone she would meet. Janice enjoyed volunteering at the Indiana State Museum, reading, cooking, traveling, camping and above all else, spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband Larry O'Brien, daughter Barbara Robbins, sisters Jennifer Baker and Lorna Bonnet, granddaughters Barbara and Natalie Reigosa, and great grandson Ayden Wyatt, amongst numerous nieces, nephews, and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 30 at 1 p.m. at Rosedale Hills Methodist Church, with the funeral to follow starting at 2 p.m. Rosedale Hills Methodist Church is located at 4450 S. Keystone Ave, Indianapolis, 46227. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
