Donna Wignall Obituary
She married Eric Wignall April 29, 1989, at St. James Episcopal Church in Preston.
Donna was a kind, caring, giving person. She was an avid reader, enjoyed word puzzles, bird watching and good chocolate. Donna will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and beloved poodle Kelsey.
Besides her loving husband Eric, she leaves behind a brother, Donald Ellal Jr. of Norwich; a brother, William Ellal of Hanover; a sister, Gina Dickinson and her husband Roger of Norwich; and a special aunt, Regina DesChamps of Hanover. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews: Donald Ellal III, Daniel Ellal, Amanda Ellal, and Corey Holowaty
Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Sept. 14, at Church & Allen Funeral Service, 136 Sachem Street, Norwich. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Maplewood Cemetery, 184 Salem Turnpike, Norwich. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donna's memory may be made to Connecticut Humane Society, 169 Old Colchester Road, Quaker Hill, Connecticut 06375 US. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.churchandallen.com for the Wignall family.
