Janice Wlaschin (Corbo) Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 14, 2025.
Jan, beloved wife, mom, grandma and nana, passed away peacefully at home in Little Canada on June 6, 2025, surrounded by family, after a courageous four-year battle with uterine cancer. She was 78.

Jan was married to the love of her life, Ray Wlaschin, for 44 years. She was a devoted mom to Jeff Corbo (Shana) and Lindsay Boyd (Jon). She adored her grandchildren-Max, Alex, Walker and Sawyer-and found her greatest joy in spending time with her family.

She was a devoted Minnesota sports fan and loved reading, boating and being on the water. She enjoyed soaking in time outdoors with those she loved most. One of eleven children, Jan came from a big family and carried a deep appreciation for staying connected with her siblings and extended family.

Her warmth, strength and generous spirit made everyone she met feel welcome and important. In her later years, Jan found joy working at Topgolf where the positive energy matched her own spirit. She often said how much she loved her job because it was a place where people were always smiling.

Jan was incredibly strong and resilient, fighting with determination and grace throughout her illness. Her quiet courage inspired those around her every day.

Jan's life was one filled with love and dedication to those she held dear. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 12, from 1-4 p.m. at Topgolf, where we will honor her memory in a place that brought her so much joy.

Jan was my big sister and good friend. Jan loved her family and always made me laugh even when I wasn't in a happy mood. I remember when I was growing up hoping to be as beautiful and funny as she was. Jan was 11 years older than me but we were still close. My heart hurts for all of our family members. I will miss her so much for the love and joy she brought to me and everyone that was close with her. Can't help to tear up everyday knowing I won't be able to at least talk to her but I still do in my prayers daily.
Love you Jan and will miss you so much

Jan was a blessing to have in your life. Cindy and I started in 1972 where Cindy stayed with Jan while we were having Lisa. That alone was a blessing for us as it gave us a chance to raise a daughter at such a young age. The years of the Torch, JB Ladds and family picnics were some of my best memories. The Heavens gained an Angel when she went to Our Lord.....a feisty one. God Bless you Jan.
