Jared, got to work today and the first thing I saw was your face on the computer. Someone has saved it as the screen saver. Miss you so much!!!!!! Tomorrow marks one month that you have been taken from us. Wish we could bring you back. I sure do miss your hugs!!! Wish I could have just one more...... R.I.P. my friend.

I knew Shelly when we were kids, her sister Becky and I were good friends. My Mom told me about this and I am so sorry for your loss. I now the Lord is with you and you Know that your son, husband and Father died a hero.

I can relate because almost a year ago (Jan. 20, 2011) my second cousin, a police officer in Miami, Florida, was shot and killed in the line of duty. Healing will take time, but be assured that Jared's service is appreciated and his ultimate sacrifice will be remembered by many.

To the family of Jared, My prayer is that his daughters feel him in their lives at all times. That his wife will be able to teach these children of his sacrifice and heal from her pain.
