Jason Ryan Binette of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2025, due to a sudden illness. He was born on August 26, 1981, in Rochester, New Hampshire, to Kevin and Claudette Binette.

A 1999 graduate of Spaulding High School, Jason served as class vice president and delivered the commencement speech. He took great pride in leading the restoration project of the school's iconic clock tower.

He went on to attend the University of New Hampshire and the Whittemore School of Business, graduating summa cum laude in 2003.

Jason later earned his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007, where he was a prominent member of the debate team and graduated on the Dean's List.

Jason moved to Charlotte to pursue his legal career and founded the Binette Law Firm in 2013, dedicating himself passionately to his work.

He is survived by his wife Lauren; his beautiful daughters Abigail and Caroline; father Kevin Binette; sister J'aime Beiter; grandmother Elaine Becker; grandfather Robert Gagne and his wife Lorraine; aunt Lisa Locke and her husband Brad; uncle Tom Binette; aunt Donna Roy and her husband Stephen; nephew Aiden; niece Amelia; several cousins; and many close friends.

He was predeceased by his mother Claudette Binette; grandparents Roland and Sylvia Binette; and aunts Pamela Couture and Kathy Sylvain.

Jason had a brilliant mind and a vibrant personality, he touched many lives with his profound sense of humor, warmth, creativity and was a great friend to many.

He was known for organizing memorable events for friends, including the MMB 2000 and 2001 wiffle ball tournaments, great parties at 86 Tebbetts Rd and Camp Binette.

A standout runner on his high school track team, he continued participating in marathons throughout his life.

He was an avid fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins, attending many live events, he also enjoyed fantasy football with family and friends.

Jason also loved reading and built an extensive personal library.

A celebration of life is being planned for July 12, 2026, in Rochester, New Hampshire. Time and location TBA.

We knew Jason through his long friendship with our son Nathan Griffin. He visited our home and was always so pleasant. We enjoyed talking with him. He was a thoughtful and caring person. My husband Al and I are very saddened by his death and send our sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace!
