Well, Friend,
It's been a month now and today is no easier than it was the day I received the call.
Our friendship is more than undescribable and I'll always cherish the stories and memories that we shared.
It was a TRUE honor for Tarnee' Kendell Hudson and I to be part of your memorial service. I tried to balance the hilarious stories with that of the serious circumstances of your untimely death. I know you would have been proud. I think about you everyday and struggle with your death, however, I do have peace knowing that your struggles are no more as you are with our Lord.
Until we can continue our shenanigans again in Heaven, I'll miss you, but never forget you!
Love you my friend!

Dear Clark Family,
My name is Robbie M. Garnes; Jason and I worked together during my first years while teaching in Henrico County. We were on the same team. We shared so many fun and comical moments while teaching. He was my white brother, and I was his black brother during that time. Over the years, life takes us in so many directions. I am so sorry and saddened over his passing. I offer my condolences and support in any way.
Jason, take your rest my brother and friend.
You will be missed,
Robbie

Please know that the Clark family has my sincere sympathy. Having two boys, Shawn and Tommy, Jason was my third son (just from another mother). Best friend to Shawn, he was at our home almost daily. I checked periodically to make sure they weren't becoming joined at the hip. Whether it be school, golfing, the infamous wrestling or anything else they could dream up, they were inseparable. Jason was determined, ambitious, kind, loving, generous, a jokester and a prankster. You never knew what was coming next. I could write a book because the memories are never ending. Our family was blessed. My love for my third son will be forever. Now living in Missouri, I will not be physically able to attend the service, but my heart will be there with you all. May God give you peace and strength until you meet again.

Dick and I loved Jason like a son. His personality and humor were infectious. His smile and silly antics warmed everyone's heart who knew him. To know him was to love him. "The Dude", as Jason called Dick and I will cherish many great memories of him within our hearts forever. Words seem inadequate in expressing to Jason's family and friends our sympathy on the loss of this special guy. Rest in peace, dear Jas. We loved you!
