Dave, Sue and Holli...I was so sad to hear about Jason. I have such great memories of he and my brother "back in the day!" I can't imagine what you have been going through to lose a son and brother too soon, but I know you draw some comfort knowing where he is and that you will see him again, one day. Praying for an extra dose of peace, comfort and understanding during this difficult time.

I’m so sorry for the Durham family in the loss of your fun loving son Jason. His smile and sincere glow about him was infectious to us the Eichbrecht family over the years. Watching he and our son Chad growing up together was the best even though they were up to no good at times I’m sure❤ Be at peace Jason

Jason was a great young man. I taught him in Sunday school class and also in Junior Church. He all way show me that he really enjoyed life, I found in him that he new what he wanted to do when he grew up. He was a great friend, and I am very sorry that I did not keep up with him and his family. I would like to say to Dave and Susan that I know what you are going through, because I have lost my whole family. I wish I had your phone # so I could talk to you both, and tell you how sorry I am not keeping in touch with both of you, you was so nice to me all the time and you was all way there for me.

We have known and loved seeing Jason grow into the great son, brother, friend, husband, father and grandpa he was since joining the Lord's family at Waterford Community Church in 1987. Jason, Dad Dave, Mom Sue, and Sis Holli are all dear and beloved friends of kindred spirit. We love you all much, you know you are held up in prayer before our Lord whom we trust to extend only the peace, comfort, understanding, and strength that only He can supply! We love you all.

Jay was one of a kind for sure. He was one of my life long closest friends, actually more like a brother, from the time we little kids. So many great memories! Laughter, tears and a lot of craziness along the way. Jay was as real as they come. A great husband, a great Dad, an awesome Grandpa and a faithful friend.
Jay, you will be dearly missed by so many, but especially by this guy. Our adventures will live on with every memory shared with my sons. Find rest in the presence of our Lord and I’ll see ya when I get there. Until then “Day by Day” Love ya brother!

Words cannot express the heartbreak I have! JD, was one of a kind. The most loyal, funniest and toughest guy I’ve ever known! I’m honored to have been friends with him for 42 years! I will never forget the memories I have with him. Go rest high on that mountain, brother! I’ll see you again and I promise your legacy will never fade as long as I’m still standing! I love you, JD

I'm going to miss Jay terribly. We had so many great times. I can't find a picture of him without a big smile on his face because he enjoyed the heck out of life and always had the best attitude. They say you can't make an old friend, and JD was one of the best I've ever had for 40 years.

Jay, you are an awesome person, kind, sweet, considerate of others, and the list could go on, and on, sweetheart. I remember the trips you took with the Brooks family to my parents house in Roscommon, MI., you came with my son Jeff, and you always seemed to have a great time. I remember you giving yourself insulin shots, and how brave you were when you did that. We have diabetes in our family, and Jeff also had diabetes. I was very happy when you and Lisa came to Roscommon, last September, 2021, for Jeff's visitation. You looked so good, and handsome, and seemed to be doing okay, that made me happy, and I was so glad that you made it. I want to thank you and Lisa for letting Jeff stay at your place, when he got his new job. From the bottom of my heart I thank you, not many people would be so kind to take someone in on such short notice. That is what I love about you, you had a big caring heart, and that will be missed so much. The comfort I feel now, is that you and your boys, and Jeff are together, watching over all of us. You are a very special person to me, so R.I.P. sweet Jay!
