extreme sympathy to the whole gibbs family. jason was the sweetest most loving man i have ever known.. there is not a thing he wouldnt have done for those he loved.. i feel blessed to have been one of those people because no matter what life threw at me if i ever needed a friend an ear to listen a shoulder to cry on or a hug to reassure me j was there and he showed me how sweet true love really is... he will be forever deeply missed but in my heart he will never be forgotten... may god bless him and his family..........

Jason,
Last time we spoke, you and your uncle Kevin worked landscaping where I lived at the time.It was so nice to see you again after so many years. We hugged that day and reminisced for only a few minutes. What seemed like an ordinary day at the time, now will be a day I'll always cherish and never forget...You will be missed...

A picture of Jason I took for my photography class in high school.

As you grieve, remember the words of this poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye,
reminding us that our loved ones are with God:
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight that ripened grain; I am the gentle autumns's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die

To his kids:
I lost my father a few years back. I'm not going to lie, it feels awful now, and it always will, but you WILL get through it. The secret is to remember the love your dad had for you and all the good times you had with him. It may sound cliche but it's true. It also helps to be with other family. When I miss my dad, I go visit his sister. My prayers are with you. God Bless

Dad, even though you and I never had a real father-daughter relationship, it doesn't change the fact that you are my father. I'm sorry it took me so long to contact you, I was stubborn, and thought that I would always have the chance when I decided the time was right, obviously, I was wrong. You will always be apart of me,

<3 your oldest, Megan

To My Baby Brother, you were my heart and my best friend. You touched my life and the babies lives in ways you'll never know. You were a wonderful man with an enormous heart who left this world way to soon. This world will never be the same without you. I'm gonna miss sunday breakfast and laying around watching t.v. and talking after the kids went to bed. I'm gonna miss answering the phone and hearing "sissy." I just wish I could hear your sweet voice one more time. Tell dad I said hi and give him a kiss for me. And give your mom a hug for me. I know they are taking good care of you now. I don't know what I'm gonna do without you and my life will never be the same. And the thanks for the christmas lights that was the sign I needed that everything will eventually be ok. You were my world and I hope you know how much me and the kids loved you. Your finally at peace baby brother...see you on the other side. Loving you always, Sissy

We all love you Jason and will miss you more than you could ever imagine. You were such a wonderful, loving, fun guy I've known and loved since you and my son B.J. started hanging out together around 6th grade. You were his 'brother' and everyone who knows you two knows that. B.J. will miss you more than anyone I'm sure. He's devastated as are the rest of us. You were always there to help anyone who needed anything. You will always be in our thoughts, in our hearts and in our memories forever. You are loved so very much.
