Jason Ray Grieshop

Jason Ray Grieshop age 39 of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Russia, Ohio died on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Columbus.   He was born on February 21, 1982 in Troy, Ohio and he is survived by his father Frank Grieshop Russia, Ohio and his mother Jean Grieshop Versailles, Ohio.  On April 28, 2007 he married Renee Goubeaux at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ft. Loramie, Ohio.  She survives in Columbus along with their two children: Carter and Cora.  He is also survived by his brothers & sisters: Stan, who is deceased & his wife Marla Grieshop, Covington, Laura & Jim Batten Greenville, Jackie & Dan Watren, Versailles, Denise & Dave Jones, Anna, Nickie & Ryan Meyer, Versailles, Anita Grieshop, Greenville, mother-in-law & father-in-law Kevin & Deb Goubeaux, Ft. Loramie, in-laws: Brian & Jill Goubeaux, Christopher & Jennifer, Scott & Traci Goubeaux all of Ft. Loramie, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Frank, Sr. & Rosa Grieshop & Sylvester & Martina Reinhard.  He was a member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, Hilliard, Ohio.  He was a 2000 graduate of Russia High School and had been a life insurance agent in the Columbus area for the last 18 years, enjoying numerous trips around the world. He loved all sports specifically The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Michael Jordan.  He adored his wife Renee and children Carter & Cora. He especially loved watching them play soccer, basketball, baseball, and gymnastics. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup Celebrant.  Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery, Ft. Loramie. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Russia from 2 to 7 PM on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 9 to 10 AM on Wednesday.
