Jason Matthew Hall ABINGDON, Va. Jason Matthew Hall, age 33, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Smyth County, Va., and was a lifelong resident of the Glade Spring and Abingdon areas. He had a great love for the outdoors and was an avid guitar player. He attended Highlands Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Hall; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pat and Ellen Brown. He is survived by wife, Leann Brown Hall; two children, Alexis Dawn Hall and Eljay Frederick Hall; mother, Edith Norma Chapman; one brother, Michael Hall and wife, Sherri; brother-in-law, William Lenny Brown; sister-in-law, Christy Loraine Brown; two nephews, Tim and Sam Hall; and several special friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, in the Old Baptist Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. Pastor Greg Coe will officiate. Friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Frost Funeral Home.
