It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason "Bubba" McGilvray of Plymouth, MA, who departed this life on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the age of 49.
Born on June 6, 1975, Jason was a proud graduate of Medway High School, Class of 1993, where he played football and built lasting friendships. After high school, he pursued a career as an auto mechanic, where his hands-on skills, dedication, and integrity earned him great respect in his field.
Jason was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Danielle McGilvray, who passed away in January 2025. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Jason is survived by his four beloved children: Owen, Lyla, Lilli, and Sophia-his greatest pride.
He was the cherished son of the late Russell and Kathleen McGilvray and is also survived by his brothers, Tim McGilvray of Bolton, MA, and Jonathan McGilvray of Plymouth, MA.
Jason will be remembered for his warm spirit, quick wit, and deep devotion to family. His strength, humor, and generosity touched all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories.
Jason and Danielle are now reunited in peace. May their love continue to guide and inspire their children and all who carry their memory forward.
A Memorial Service will be held at The Coachman in Bellingham, MA, on Saturday, May 31st. 1-4 pm "Like beautiful sunsets, good men cannot escape without great notice." - Ron McGilvray

Thank you for being my bonus dad since I was 7. Thank you for giving my mom annd I anything you could and more. I will remember our family dinners with you sitting at the head of the table for the rest of my life. You were a such a great man Jason McGilvray.
