Jason Merriman Obituary
Jason was born on September 1, 1984 in Pittsburgh PA. He went on to earn an MBA from Robert Morris University. Jason was a beloved man, cherished by all who met him. He married the love of his life, Jessica, in 2020 and welcomed the birth of his son in May of 2022. He may or may not have been a close friend of Stan Lee, to whom he consulted on many details within the cinematic universe. As a competitive power lifter, Jason was able to bench 315lbs, squat 450lbs and deadlift 525lbs. He was also a passionate golfer, and a huge fan of all teams Pittsburgh. Jason was known for his huge heart and infectious smile that brightened the lives of everyone around him.
Jason is survived by his wife, Jessica Merriman (Standish); son, Carson Merriman; fur baby, Fiona; mother, Donna Juzwick; aunts Christine Nosal, Carol Nosal and Paula Pascarella (Nosal); Uncle Phil Juzwick and Aunt Heather Juzwick; and many cousins. Jason was preceded in death by his loving step-father, Richard Juzwick; grandparents, Christine and Paul Nosal.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 18th at 11:00 AM at Sewickley Presbyterian Church (414 Grant Street, Sewickley, PA 15143), with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the charity that is near and dear to your heart.
