Jason Rock Obituary

NEW BEDFORD — Jason Christopher Rock, one month old, and infant son of Richard C. Rock, Jr., and Melissa A. Valliere, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital on Thursday, December 4, 2008.

Survivors include his parents and his brother Richard Aaron Rock and his sister Ava Rock; his paternal grandparents Richard C. and Ronda Rock of Fairhaven and his maternal grandparents Dan and Donna Viger of New Bedford; his paternal great grandparents Richard E. and Gail Rock of Fairhaven and Manuel and Carol DeMello of New Bedford; his maternal great grandparents Gordon and Patricia Jansen of No. Dartmouth and Joyce Gibson of New Bedford; his aunt Jennifer Camara of New Bedford; two uncles Kevin Queripel of New Bedford and Robert Queripel of Springfield, MO; and several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to First Church of the Nazarene, 764 Hathaway Road, New Bedford, MA 02740.

There will be no visitation. His Funeral Services will be held at First Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday at 1 PM followed by interment at St. John Cemetery. Arrangements by Rock Funeral Home.
