Jason D. Ross 38 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord Monday, December 9, 2013. He was a graduate of Northside High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in New Castle. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Mickey Ross, Sr.; uncle Danny Ross; and grandmother Marie Whitehead. He is survived by wife Betty Dickson Ross; daughter Ashley McFalls; step-children Joy Thomason and husband Steven, Crystal Parker and husband Darrell, and Aaron Allard; step-grandchildren Taylor and Logan Hairston, Cameron and Javon Parker; father and step-mother Mickey Ross, Jr. and wife Judy; mother and step-father Kathryn Arritt and husband Jesse Cornelius; brother Mike Ross; step-brothers Wesley Cornelius and William Scott Thomasson; grandparents Roy and Nancy Arritt and Betty Paisley Ross; aunts Angie White, Reva Campbell and husband Harold, Michele Laprade-Dillon and husband Robert, and Barbara Ross; uncles Mike Arritt and Jeff Arritt; niece Tyler Ross; and numerous cousins and special friends. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Jere King and Dr. Chet Roden officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday, December 13, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Baptist Church, 159 Old Railroad Ave. New Castle, VA 24127. www.paitselfh.com
