Jason, Jay, when I heard about your passing I was filled with such deep sadness. I believe that those we care about who pass away live on in us through our memories. I will always remember your love of wrestling and cooking. I will remember your beautiful smile, sense of humor, and your genuine care for others that you believed to be sincere and authentic. Each time I begin to feel sorrow; I take solace in a poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
