Jason Stephenson

I just found this page today after searching his name because I remembered a fun day we had when we were boys in about 1984. I haven't seen Jason in probably 25 years but I remember hanging out with him when we were about 10 and going down to the slough. He showed me how to fish without a pole -- just a line and a hook. Not sure we caught anything, but I always thought it was amazing. We then walked up to McDonalds for milkshakes. It's such a little thing but it's a memory I'll never forget. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

Hey friends and family!!!!! Got sum memories to tell you guys, fishing outta no where, camping out of know where, Uncle Jay always scaring me and the little ones with snakes and everything else lol, memories will FOREVER be in my heart, not a day that goes by that i dont think about him, He was and still is my #1, when i stayed with him in denmark and he had no food, he didnt care bout himself, he wants to make sure i was fed and healthy, i always came first when it came between him and me. He was my fav Uncle believe it or not. we had good days and we had bad days, nothing or no one could have broken our uncle and niece bonding times. It was unbreakable. I LOVE YOU UNCLE JAY!!!!!! I have known Jason most of my life.Even though our lives went in different directions and we lost touch for many years.I didnt forget him.Im looking at an elementary class picture we were both in.He was such a great person.Not once did he let me pass by him without saying a quick hello with a smile.And i remember most of all that hed stand up for the kids that got picked on in school.He was also very funny in class.Throughout his life hes been through alot of hard times yet he found the strength and the will to carry on and keep living his life regardless of any obstacles that got in his way.He touched the lives of so many people.I will not forget him.Id like to offer my condolences to his friends and family.Your all in my prayers.Jason is looking down from heaven smiling and watching over you all.Try to be strong youll see him again someday. Just wanted to share a little memory with everyone of how sweet and thoughtful Jason had been to my son James Imthurn... When James' house had caught fire and Jason had heard the news about it and how James had lost everything.... Jason had so much sympathy for my son that he offered to help with clothing and help on rebuilding his house when he was ready to... This meant a lot to him and a lot to us as well

First met Jason when I got a job at Hardee's east. Went to school with his brother Matt. He and I were very good friends until I shipped out in Feburary 1993 for bootcamp in Great Lakes, Illinois. Although Matt made it there a few weeks before I did I got to see him there. My fondest memory of Jason was when Matt and I joined him in a "secluded" location to camp out and BS. That memory is still fresh in my mind. I cannot remember exactly who it was that had the car with the all the speakers and awesome music, but I do remember that we played music so long that his car battery died! :) Simple little memories like that will forever be with me whenever I look back on those times. Jason was and shall ever be in my heart and mind. I could go on for days with memories I have. Above all, those memories that aren't shared are the priceless ones. And Marion, that damn Datsun stationwagon you sold me was a pile of crap!!! :) Again, memories............. I will go to sleep tonight mourning the passage of a very good friend. Years gone by will never fade memories made. I love you all so very much. God bless you all in your time of need.

Jason not only was a great friend but he was like a part of our family!! He was kind, caring, funny, and great with our children! He always made the best out of a bad situation!
