My Mom and I attended the service today and what a beautiful tribute to the young man he was. We are proud to be in Jason´s gang.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of Jason.

I knew Jason from his visits to the media center at West Middle School. While I was the teacher, Jason taught me to live life to its fullest. He was full of personality, had a great sense of humor, and never let his physical limitations hold him back from anything.
My heart goes out to Jason's family and friends, especially to his brother, Tyler, with whom he shared a unique bond.

I will always remember Jason´s devious little smile as he cruised down the hallways at West Middle School. When told to "slow down", he innocently complied, as we exchanged knowing smiles. My heart and love goes out to his family, in particular to Tyler who I also had the privilege of having. Trees were donated from many West staff members who knew and loved him, as well as a contribution to The Muscular Dystrophy Association. He will forever remain in our hearts.

While I didn't have Jason in class, I'll always remember him coming in and hanging out in my room just to see what was going on. Warmed my heart (and continues to do so to this day).

i wish i could share all the memories i have with jasons sweet soul, but i couldnt name them all as i met him in elementary school. everytime i think of jason i rember 3rd grade, everytime someone would try to say somthing and if jason didnt belive it he would make us say puppy three times, it was always a thing he did to us, i thought it was the funniest thing ever. jason really was one of my good friends in elementary and will always have a spot in my heart as i didnt really make friends easily.

I had Jason in my class several years ago, and the classes would line up in the cafeteria after lunch. We´d try to keep some order by playing games, and I played I Spy with them. "I spy something black." Jason shouted out, "Me!" He wasn´t the answer, but that was so clever, and definitely a favorite memory with him.

Popeyes, McDonald´s, Dollar tree, the bridge, middle school, the mall, copper fest. All the places me and Jason and other would hang out and talk or he´d talk about wanting to go to.

My favorite year teaching was the year Jason was in kindergarten. His impact was greater than he realized. His impact still lives (and will always live) in my heart as well as his classmates. The kids from that class who come back to visit, mostly talk or ask about him. His spunky personality and spirit drew everyone in, even at the age of 5. I am eternally grateful to know him and that he was a part of my life.

Jason was more popular than most of his peers. I believe it came from being someone worthy of their admiration! I will miss you Jason!

Fourteen years ago the most adorable, cuddly, little boy entered our world. You immediately wrapped me around your little finger. The rest is history.
One of my funniest memories of you is when Mamma D gave us both a time out for whatever ridiculous thing we were doing. You were soooo mad at me!!
I love you so much, my Jay-Love. You will always be in my heart and I will think about you every day. Love you forever- Aunt Nikki

Jason man I´ll miss you so much . One thing I´ve learned from him is that you can be friends with absolutely anyone. He never let anything get in the way of his dreams, if he wanted to do something he most certainly would! Love you so much Jason
