Jay was a dear friend, neighbor and work colleague for many years. I will miss his friendly warm smile, great handshake or pat on the back and great sense of humor. To say "he was one of the good guys" is a gross understatement. Carol, my heart goes out to you and the rest of your family. I know what you have all gone through these past several years and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Jay was such a delight and a really important person in the development of Bush Brothers marketing evolution in the 90s. His tenure on our board was truly transformational. We adored him and are so grateful to Carol and the rest of the family to have graciously given us that time with Jay. Wonderful man and is dearly missed.

Jay was a very valuable participant in the Hershey´s success during those growth years and a close associate of mine. In fact he was a major part of that success. He was a good friend, and I will miss him. May God bless him and his family. Joe Viviano

Jay and I shared a West Virginia background and a love of basketball. I joined Hershey Foods shortly after Jay, and he helped me acclimate to the "Hershey Family". He was a kind, funny, intelligent man, a good hoopster, and most importantly, a devoted husband, father, grandpa and all-around good man. I am a better person to have had Jay in my life, and was fortunate to have him as a friend.
