Jay Cox Obituary
He was born August 25, 2000 in Kilgore, Texas. Jay was a student at Kilgore High School. He was active in the youth group at the First Christian Church of Kilgore where he did mission work. Jay loved baseball, fishing, ATV riding, hunting and his job at Whataburger. He was a jokester, always making people laugh.
Jay is survived by his mother, Rachel Rowe and her husband, John of Kilgore; his father, Jeremy Cox and his wife, Jerica of Longview; a sister, Abbie Cox of Kilgore; a brother, Aaron Rowe of Kilgore; grandparents, Ramona and Michael Sparks of Millington, Tennessee, J. T. and Tammy Cox of Liberty Hill, Texas, Byron and Judy Mason of Kilgore; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patti Cox.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Tuesday evening between 6:00-8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
