This was a great man. I am proud to have served under him and have missed him from the day I left. The world is a poorer place for his departure. RMD

Jay was my mother´s cousin. I grew up in Snyder with Jay and his family. I was a candle lighter in Jay and Sally´s wedding. We moved away from Snyder and lost contact with Jay´s family after his parents died. I did know that he had a very distinguished medical career. My love and sympathy to Sally and his family and to his sister Ann.

He helped save my husband´s life by performing a staging laporotomy. My husband was 32. He is now 66 and remains cancer free. He operated on my Mom in her 70s. She had never had anesthesia or surgery. He was the best. Rest in peace, Dr. Fish. Our condolences to his family. Richard and Holly Howard, Bastrop, TX
