Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us.

I was fortunate to live near her and to see her at the market and tailor. We were never formally introduced and yet she chatted with me as though I were her friend. She was so warm and gracious. We were both redheads,and, as such, I remember she told me to wear orange, red, and pink, colors I never thought I could enjoy. I still think of her every time I do. She was still so beautiful the last time I saw her as a woman past ninety. She was a truly beautiful person in every sense of the word and will be greatly missed by so many people whose lives she touch. Ruth S. Encino CA

I was a fan of Jayne's for many years from I've Got A Secret through City Slickers. She was true Hollywood royalty. We'll all miss her!

'Twas at StaceysBookstore in SanFranciscoCA when sister Audrey signed TheHoneymooners book and mentioned having gone back to China recently, the venue of their birth many years ago. I often confuse these siblings looking so much alike.

I remember watching Jayne Meadows on game shows on TV, and I loved her beautiful voice and her sweet personality. May she rest in peace with her beloved Steve.

Life well lived and one that brought much enjoyment to others. I truly adored the words of endearment shared between Jayne and her husband. It is refreshing to hear about such a loving family. May the hope at John 6:40 embrace the family and unite you in love and peace during the challenging days to come.

Jayne and Steve both had laughs which couldn't be duplicated. When they laughed you had to laugh too. They are now together again and I bet they are both making everyone in heaven laugh and smile with their outstanding talents. This couple entertained millions of people and will never be forgotten. Jayne was a very talented lady. She always mesmerized her audience in all her appearances in the movies, tv, and stage work. She was a beautiful woman who had an outstanding personality. Jayne and Steve ar back together again, now for eternity. A Fan

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Ms. Meadows. I had the honor and pleasure of escorting her and her husband, Steve, after a radio appearance in SF in late 1990's. It was Halloween, and as I drove them to Marin County, they sat in the backseat of my car, holding hands and discussing the grandchildren's costumes. It was a private moment that I felt privileged to be a part of. She was a lovely person with many talents, and she will be remembered fondly. May the many happy memories of your time with her bring comfort in the days ahead.

One of the most beautiful, enjoyable, and talented gals to ever grace the entertainment business. Everything she did, I couldn't get enough of her. Thank you for all the super memories and prayers go out to your family.

So sad to hear of the death of my old friend Miss Jayne Meadows. She was a customer of mine at a flower shop I worked at in Sherman Oaks. We struck up quite a friendship. I absolutely adored her. She was Hollywood Royalty and I loved being with her. One day she surprised me with this photo, signed by her and Mr. Steve Allen. She had Steve with her when she delivered the photo. I was floored. Later on she gave me tickets for R&H "Cinderella" starring her and Steve with Rose Marie and 2 stars from Bold and the Beautiful. They were awesome. I totally cried today, and have thought of her so many times over the years. She was a true Hollywood Star and I feel so blessed to of caught a little of that stardust.

I don't recall the date, but Jane and Steve Allen were on the tonight show. She was asked if she had an embarrassing moment.
She said she laughed so hard the bottom jaw bone came loose and she was pointing to her face and she said she couldn't stop laughing and holding her jaw.
I'll never forget her WONDERFUL LAUGH> It was contagious and joyous. She cared about her family and tried to do so much for them.
"LAUGHTER IS THE SINGING OF THE ANGELS."
This is Jane. She's an ANGEL now and her laughter made people happy.

We are so sorry to hear about Jayne Meadows. Her and Steve Allen were a wonderful team and her sister was also a great actress. We will miss Jayne. Jayne Meadows will be remembered for her grace, wit, beauty, effervescent charm and immense talent, as well as her love of and devotion to her family and friends. Her last TV role with Audrey in the series, "Sisters" I remember fondly. My deepest sympathies to Jayne's son, grandchildren and extended family.
