The world is a little duller now that Jayne has passed. I learned so much from her back in the Broward Neighbors days. My condolences to Irwin and her family.

As a member of the Neighbors Team, I recognizxed that Jayne (my boss) was an "advanced scout" intending to cause thins to happen wherever she might place 2 feet. Fearless in a great way. May her spirit fly with those beautiful monarchs that Pacific Grove is so famous for !

I ONLY KNEW JAYNE A COUPLE YEARS FROM PLAYING GOLF WITH HER AT THE P. G. GOLF COURSE, A VERY HAPPY FUN TO PLAY GOLF LADY AND NEVER LET ON ABOUT HER ILLNESS AT ALL, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT FOR A LONG TIME. THANKS TO JAYNE I HAVE MADE SOME VERY NICE NEW FRIENDS AS SHE GOT ME STARTED PLAYING WITH THE BUCKS AN DOES GOLF GROUP AT THE P.G. GOLF COURSE. WE WILL ALL MISS HER AT THE GOLF COURSE FOR SURE WHAT A NICE PERSON. I WON'T BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE SERVICE ON THE 25TH IRWIN AS WE ARE HAVEING A MEMORAL SERVICE FOR MY MOTHER THAT SAME DAY IN LAKE ISABILA CA.. BEST WISHIES TO YOU IRWIN AND THE FAMILY, IT WAS SO SAD TO ALL OF US .

I worked for Jayne at Neighbors Newspapers right after she and Irwin came back from their sabbatical in Europe. Warm, vivacious and wickedly funny, Jayne took the time to mentor me as a new manager. A a recent college grad, Jayne taught me about budgeting, dealing with challenging personalities, and the importance of having fun at work. She was the instigator in toilet-papering our offices on our birthdays, gave us lots of flexibility in how we did our jobs and was open to new suggestions and opportunities. She was truly a remarkable woman, boss, and friend. A great deal of what I know and understand today all roots back to Jayne. She will truly be missed, and my heart goes out to Irwin and family.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.
