My condolences to the family, loved ones, and friends. I was honored to have coached this young man at Bammel Middle School. He was one of if not the most respectful student athletes I have coached in my years at BMS. Prayers for all during this time of loss.

My best friend, in no way have they even slightly touched on your legacy. It wasn't only the great football JeRay, it was the goofy tap on the shoulder, or the random comment, or the wild ideas. It was the passion in your voice when you tried to coach and encourage, it was the look when you tried to clean up and of course you spilled your drink. It was your trash talk during dominoes, cards, and chess, whether you were winning or losing. It was the way you liked to pop bumps. It was the way you always steal my fishing spots. Most people don't know you were a good cook, and actually had great taste in fashion for men and women. These are the things we loved and cherish. Your smile during these times will last LONGER THAN FOREVER!

I was disheartened when I heard Je'Ray's name broadcast on the TV for a fatal incident, one of our own Spring ISD products. Ray Chatham, Sheila Gold and the rest of the family, friends, and community, have my deepest condolences on the home going of Je'Ray. I am sure many of us feel that your earthly walk was full but, too short.
