Jean Arrants Obituary
She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Ellison; mother, Lois deArman; and her stepmother Alyne Ellison.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William (Bill) Walter Arrants; her children: Wayne Arrants; wife, Berkely; Gary Arrants; wife, Becky; Todd Arrants; wife, Barbara; grandchildren: Tucker Arrants; Devin Arrants; Baylor Arrants; Christopher Arrants; and Amanda Arrants; brother: Arnold Ellison; sister-in-law, Gene Ann; and several nieces and nephews.
After graduating from the Ida B. Moffatt School of Nursing in Birmingham, AL, Jean worked for years as an OR nurse, and later as an independent sales rep for medical equipment. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Williamson County Hospital, in Franklin, TN. Jean was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Nashville, TN.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff of Somerfield Health Center at the Heritage at Brentwood.
Visitation of friends will be Wednesday, September 11, at 10:00am, with service to follow at 11:00am, at First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to First Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.

Bill and family,
Larry and I are so very saddened to learn of Barbara´s passing. We will remember all the fun we had during our APPA conventions and not so long ago when we met at the Loveless Cafe for a meal. Keeping you and your family close in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
