Jean, you were an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and to me, a great friend. You will be sorely missed. Please know I continue to lift your family on earth in prayer for healing and restoration. Forever you will rest in eternal peace and dance with your forever loved Father in Heaven and your groom.

I met Jean because of our joint passion for food. I soon learned to appreciate her great passion for a life well lived! A very special lady!

I never knew Jean, but I do remember Dr. Bencriscutto from my high school years at Kellogg High School, a Roseville, MN, public school. Kellogg was a brand new high school, and Dr. B. composed the music to the school song. There was a student contest to write the lyrics. Dr. B. came to help us learn the music. Our instructor was Mark Lammers, and he reminded us of proper manners when he was to be our guest. Such enthusiasm he had! We thought we were really cool being directed by the U of M bad director! Blessed be the memory of both of your parents who leave behind a legacy of love and music. Christine (Storm) Anderson (KHS '67)

I never had the chance to meet either of these fine people. I did however get the chance to play their wonderful music!!! What love for something!

I never knew Mrs. Bencriscutto, and it's only by coincidence that I've learned of her passing. But it's no surprise that such a woman would be behind/along side the great Dr. Ben, whom I did have the pleasure of meeting a couple times in my younger days as a budding musician. "Make something musical out of every note." No music teacher I ever had said anything to me more important or useful than that; I've carried that thought for 33 years. Blessings to the family.

Great Aunt Jean - "Great" is the operative word. You were such an amazing light, force and source of inspiration in so many people's lives. You lived life to the fullest, took nothing for granted and always remembered the important things. I know you are at peace in Heaven w/ Uncle Frank, and I'm sure you are making the souls in Heaven smile w/ all your beautiful music - together again... Love you and miss you! My deepest condolences to Peter, Diana and Kim.

To Jean's family: I have fond memories of Jean and Frank playing at Como Park when I was the singer with Max Metzger conducting. Jean and Frank and I would often go for food later. I was honored when Jean brought Diana to study voice with me. My thoughts are with your family.

Jean, you will be missed by so many ... by me. Remember when we ran into each other at the John Edwards lecture quite a few years ago? What a nice surprise to see you there! My band experiences, my music career, wouldn't have been the same without you and Dr. Ben. The tours we took, the Russian Tour I almost went on (and wish now that I had), the memories of you playing, of Dr. Ben conducting, of Curt sitting down there loving 4th horn. You will, already are, very missed.
