Jean Shurtleff Bowen, 75, of Sunset Utah passed on Apr. 3, 2025. She was born to Warren N. Shurtleff and Leda June Dunn on Nov. 7, 1949, in Ogden, Utah. She is survived by her husband Courtney L. Bowen (sealed in the SLC temple Sept. 12, 1969) and siblings Caroline Phelps, Darla Weston, Celestia Shurtleff, Chuck Shurtleff, and sister-in-law Lisa Carter Shurtleff; children Matthew C. Bowen (Jennifer Youngberg), Jenna Houston (Lyman), Nelson R. Bowen (Laura Weston), Elizabeth "Betsy" Bowen, and Spencer L. Bowen (Jami Speechly). She joined her parents and siblings Richard Shurtleff and Tim Shurtleff. Jean will be remembered for her love of the Savior Jesus Christ, her faithful service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and her never ending love for her family. She considered everyone her neighbor and constantly served and loved everyone she interacted with. An open house will be held at her home, 2162 N. 175 W, Sunset, UT at 5:00-7:00 pm, Sat., Apr. 12.
