Our deepest condolences to the Carnahan family for the passing of former Senator Jean Carnahan. Blessing to the entire family as she is laid to rest next to her beloved husband Gov. Mel Carnahan, who reminded his family and all of us to "never let the fire go out". May God continuously bless the entire family for the great service that they gave and continue to give. My sincere condolences to the Carnahan family! Such an amazing and caring woman. She was like a mother to many of us that worked on Mel´s gubernatorial campaign, as well as for the many years following!
Robin, Russ, Tom; Thanks for sharing your wonderful mother with so many of us! She was truly a caring person. Such a loss to all of us and the state of Missouri.
Rest in peace my friend.

My thoughts and prayers for all family and friends of Jean. She will always be an amazing woman to me. I had the pleasure of spending time with her here in the KC Metro area when her book "Don't Let The Fire Go Out". I so enjoyed the time as we traveled for the book signings here. What an amazing soul. Rest in peace my friend.

As a new Republican State Senator, Jean Carnahan and Mel treated me with encouragement, honesty and genuine openness as a representative of my district on behalf of good government. Willing to work together on the behalf of all the people of Missouri was an actuality!
My sincere personal condolences to the entire family for this dear loss.

The Antle family remembers good times with the Carnahans, along with other family friends in Rolla. 'Caravaning for Carnahan' with red cowboy hats is a memory for me, myself unaware of politics back then, but fully aware that our friend and his wife and family would represent us honestly and well.
May the hope you have in Christ sustain in this difficult time.
