Dear Cooney Family,
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Growing up in Black Rock with Mrs. Cooney as a neighbor was great. She always had a smile on her face...especially on her long walks. She will be missed.

Dear Jerry,
I am in Florida. I was so upset when Theresa called me to tell me about Jean. She was a special lady. We had some good times together, Jean, Ginnie and me. I often look back on those days and feel happy. I know what you are going through, and my love, and prayers are with you and your whole wonderful family..my family, helped me survive, as I am sure your family will help you, and help each other. my love, Teri McMahon

Jean was an incredible wife and mother, and I grew up with her love and attention as a neighbor and surrogate mom. Her capacity for happiness, generosity and sweetness seemed limitless. She has contributed so much thru her tireless nursing care and her wonderful family. My heartfelt sympathies and love to Gerry, Siobhan, Michaela, Brian and Sean, her grandchildren and all her family.
