Words are not enough to express the love that so many had for Jean. She was a truly special angel on this earth that touched so many people. This world is a sadder place without Jean being in it. I am sure that she is up in heaven with her dear sister having the time of her life. I am so blessed to have known Jean all these years. We will truly miss you Jean and are so sorry you left us so early....

As a student of hers 23 years ago, I really tested her patience. She was such a kind young woman and ensured the success of each of her students. She will truly be missed.

Jean was a beautiful person inside and out. I worked at Cumberland Crossing for 2 years and in that time she made me feel like family. She loved giving to others and loved making others feel special. Ill miss ya Jean

Jean was a very special lady. She always thought of others first. She will be missed by so many people. The world will be a little less gentle without her kindness. Tony and Gloria Combi

I will forever remember Miss Evers as being my favorite and most special teacher in all my years. I had her in 3rd grade at Nixon Elementary, and she helped me through my most difficult time when my grandfather was terminally ill that year. I will always remember the prayer she told me to say at night, and I still say it during stressful times. I am so sorry to hearing of her passing, but I know that we have all gained an angel in Heaven. My sympathies to her family. You are all in my prayers.

I was a friend of Jean at Chartiers Valley School District. She was a lovely caring person and a wonderful teacher.
I'm sure she is at peace with the Lord.
