FEHR, Jean (Jeanne)
It is with great heart-felt sadness that we announce the passing of a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed by many. Jean Fehr of Edmonton, age 72, passed away peacefully after a courageous, but brief battle with cancer at the Cross Cancer Institute on the afternoon of Monday, August 8, 2011. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Jake; her children, Janice and Ron, and two grandchildren, Anthony and Cassandra; four sisters and two brothers: Cecile, Therese, Germaine, Albert, Rita and Raymond.
Jean was born in Edmonton on July 23, 1939, daughter of Edward (1981) and Alma (1994) Courchesne. Also predeceased by, one sister Alice (2005) and one brother Lucien (2011).
Memorial mass service will be held on Monday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 10826 - 62 Avenue, with Celebrant Reverend Vernon Regis. Memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute - Palliative Care fund, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.

Dear Cousin,
A year has gone by since you left us without warning. We continue to miss you and think about you often. So many things remind me of you...jelly beans, slot machines, pilgrimages and July 23.

Sister Janice, dear Anthony and all your family...
So many prayers and heartfelt wishes of comfort and sympathy are being dedicated to you all... We wish we could gift you with the strength and peace that are so difficult to find... As memories wash over you in waves throughout the days that have passed since Jeanne (your mom, grandmother, auntie, sister, best friend and all those special parts of your heart that she owns) was released from her suffering to join our Lord and all the heavenly family above. Though it is hard to let go... Know that she is still with you always in your love for her and her love for you. Let the memories help you to heal - remember the laughter and the many times she made your life fun and easier! I will miss knowing she is there supporting you - I feel the loss of her caring friendship and support too... But I know nothing will stop her from caring about those who are special to her! To Jake and family and all the Courchesne family,

I have just returned from holidays and learned of Jeanne's passing. I am just in shock. I had such a beautiful visit with her at Lucien's funeral. She was a very good friend of mine from school days. I do not have the words to express how sorry I am for your loss. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

We Had just learn of Jean passing away on Thursday, Aug 18/2011. We shall greatly miss her kindnessand and warmth to everyone, Her laughter and Sence of humour.

Jeanne was a very caring person..loved by many. She left us too soon. We weren't ready for such a quick departure.

We will miss you dear cousin. We always looked forward to seeing you at the pilgrimage at Lac Ste Anne as well as Skaro. Jeanne was a faithful servant of our Lord.
