Jean Carol Giannopoulos, known affectionately as Jeannie, passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 59, in Essex, Massachusetts. Born on January 9, 1966, in Lynn, Massachusetts, she was a daughter to the late Brenda Simard and grew up in a loving family with siblings Lisa, Serge, Wendy, Gary, and her late brothers, Robert (Bobby) Trenholm and Paul Ustaszewski.

Jeannie's career was marked by compassion and engagement with her community. She dedicated many years to working as an activities assistant at PACE in Lynn, Massachusetts, where she brought joy and comfort to many. In her later years, she transitioned to retail, continuing to touch lives with her warm presence and genuine interest in others.

Known for her fun, loving, generous, and happy demeanor, Jeannie enjoyed simple pleasures like reading, taking walks, and engaging in conversations with people from all walks of life. Her ability to connect with others and her unwavering positivity left a lasting impact on those she met.

Jeannie is survived by a loving family, including her daughter Angela O'Neill and son-in-law Ryan O'Neill, her sons Steven Giannopoulos and John A Fazio, her granddaughter Isabelle Giannopoulos, and her great-granddaughter Jaylise Nunez. She also leaves behind her siblings Lisa Ustaszewski, Serge Ustaszewski, Wendy Simard, Gary Simard, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her deeply.

At this time, details of the memorial services are pending. Boston Cremation in Malden, Massachusetts, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Jeannie's life and legacy will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those she has left behind.
