I worked with Jean at Mrs. Chow's nursing home on Sheridan Road. She was so bright and productive all the time. She was always rushing around to accomplish many good works. I remember especially her warmth and kindness to me. I went to her often for advice, and she was never to busy to counsel me. Her insights were excellent, and I could always count on her to help me in a difficult situation. She was very politic, and knew what to do and what not to do in a particular situation. Even after I left Lake Shore Nursing Centre, we took walks sometime in Skokie, and I always enjoyed her insightful conversation on many topics.
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. May you all be comforted by warm memories of Jean and may the example she set be a source of inspiration to her children and grandchildren.
