JEAN AND I WERE GOOD FRIENDS WHEN HE LIVED IN TUSCON AZ, AS WE WERE NEIGHBORS IN A MOBILE HOME PARK. AS A HAM RADIO OPERATOR, AND WW2 HISTORY BUFF, I HAD A SPY RADIO, THE MARK 2 B2, AS A PRIZED POSSESSION. WHEN HE TOLD ME WHAT HE DID IN WW2, AND THE FACT THAT HE USED THAT SAME RADIO, WHAT CAME NEXT WERE HOURS OF TALKS, HIS EXPERIENCES, TRAINING, FRIENDSHIPS. JEAN WAS THE BEST. SMART, KIND, HELPFUL. WE SOCIALIZED, TALKED, DINED, AND TOURED TOGETHER. A FRIEND I TRULY MISS TO THIS DAY.

Just watch a film featuring your father on PBS. It was ver interesting and inspiring. It´s always so awe inspiring to see stories of people who give so much to their country, especially in the face of such danger. You have every right to be proud of him.
