Jean Lempert

Jean was my mentor, colleague, and friend in the League of Women Voters in Pittsburgh. It was a privilege to work with her. Her intelligence and commitment were an inspiration. When we worked closely together in the early 70s, we talked often about our families, and though I don't believe I ever met her children, I almost felt that I knew them. My deepest condolences to Joe and to Jean and Joe's children and grandchildren.
