Jean G. (Grote) Montgomery

I grew up around the corner from Mrs Montgomery in Nanuet and am a friend of her granddaughter, Ingrid..I spent many days of my childhood in her home playing with Ingrid and David. Mrs Montgomery was an amazing woman who always gave you a big hello, a smile and always made you feel welcome. She loved her family and will be missed by all.

Mrs. Montgomery was an amazing teacher - I loved her style and she always pushed me to try my best. I will certainly never forget her and I am sure my Nanuet peers would agree on the positive impact that she had. Rest in peace, dear Mrs. Montgomery and thank you for being a great teacher in the classroom as well as in life.

Mrs Montgomery was my first grade teacher 35 years ago in Nanuet. I have great memories of her. I am glad to hear she lived a long life. May she rest in peace.
