Jean Sleith Moore, 92, of Morris Plains, N.J., formerly of New Eagle, died April 9, 2007, in the Morris View Nursing Home, Morris Plains. She was born July 14, 1914, in New Eagle, a daughter of the late David and Agnes McLaughlin Sleith. Mrs. Moore moved from New Eagle to New Jersey 10 years ago to be with her family. While she was a resident of New Eagle, she had attended both St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Monongahela and Riverview Baptist Church in New Eagle. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 108 and enjoyed going to the senior citizens center, both in Monongahela. She is survived by her daughter, Mona Daugherty and husband Ken, of Florham Park, N.J.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Daugherty and wife Donna, Raymond Daugherty and wife Beth, and Sharon Borrelli and husband Jerry, all of New Jersey; nine great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Kyle, Lauren, Erica and Brad Daugherty and Carly, Louis and Nicholas Borrelli, all of New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Moore; and her brother, Charles Sleith. Friends will be received at the FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela (724-258-6136) on Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., the time of funeral service with the Rev. Sherwood Sawyer officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Riverview Baptist Church, 405 Main St., New Eagle, Pa. 15067.
