Jean C. (McSweeney) Nee of South Boston passed away on January 10, 2023. Beloved wife of the late John F. Nee Sr. Devoted mother of John F. Nee Jr. (BFD), his wife Regina of Milton, Joseph E. Nee (Ret. BPD) of Weymouth, Jean A. Harrison of South Boston and James T. Nee (BFD) of South Boston. Loving grandmother of Hayley, Matthew, Joseph, William, Abbey, Jake, Megan, Elizabeth and Rose. Great grandmother of 4. Sister of the late Barbara Lydon, Alice Bean, Paul, Leo and James McSweeney. Daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Manning) McSweeney. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and her lifelong best friend Patty McCafferty. Late employee of the US Postal Service. Visitation in the O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON on Monday,

January 16th from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church, 615 East Fourth Street, South Boston on Tuesday, January 17th at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
