JEAN B. “MA” SOCHAJean B. “Ma” Socha of Gasport, NY entered into rest Saturday July 26, 2008. Born June 23, 1928 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Ziblut Krupa. Jean worked as a clerk for Days Market, Criswell’s and Mr. Bill’s. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, John Wayne movies and spending time with her grandchild and great-grandchildren most of all.She was the mother of Robert Socha and Vicky J. Socha, both of Gasport; grandmother of Laura (Ismael) Walton of Gasport; great-grandmother of Samantha, Ian, River and Seaonna Walton; sister of Walter (Barbara) Krupa of Tennessee, Adele Robillard, Francis Ficner, Chester Krupa, Irene Timko, all of Niagara Falls and Henry (Carm) Krupa of Alabama.
