Jean Stolt Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 27, 2025.
Jean Stolt, born Jean Gronau on January 31, 1943, in New Ulm, Minnesota, passed away on May 11, 2025, in McAllen Texas. She was 82 years old.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late Howard Stolt and a devoted mother to her son, Robert Stolt, and daughter, Rebecca Gadson. She also cherished her role as grandmother to four grand children, Haley, Lauren, Sianna, and Michael.

Throughout her life, Jean enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also found joy and creativity in quilting and crocheting. Her beautiful handiwork brought warmth and beauty to those around her and reflected the care she put into everything she did.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. May her legacy bring comfort and peace to those she leaves behind.

Once Jeannie and I discovered we shared the same day of birth, not the year, we became best of friends. We kept in touch even after we changed parks. She was a warm and great lady.

Our deepest sympathy to the family. Enjoyed having Jeannie and Howard down the street from us for many years.

As a Winter Texan from Canada there are many happy memories of making quilts for Children's Haven and for raffles to raise money for various things. Always a ready smile and a kind word for those around her.
