Walsh Nolan, Jean M. of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on the morning of June 13, 2022 at the age of 78. Born in Brooklyn to Joseph L. and Mary M. (Matos) Walsh, "Jeannie" attended Fontbonne Hall Academy in Brooklyn and later graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. She put her education to use in service to the City of New York for nearly two decades as a probation officer and social worker. Wife of William C. Nolan, who predeceased her, Jeannie was a beloved sister and aunt, as well as a loyal friend and neighbor to many. Per her request, Jeannie was cremated and her remains were interred alongside her husband at Calverton National Cemetery, Riverhead, NY. She is survived by her brother, Mark Walsh (Rosemary) of East Stroudsburg, PA; and her nieces & nephews, Christopher Walsh, Gregory Walsh, Laura Hagan, Jill Walsh, and Peter Walsh.
